Government Terms "OSS"

OSS or Open Secret Storage.  This is an area within a building that requires special access.  This area is protected in many ways from intruders.  This An area approved by the USGS Security Manager for the open storage of Secret or Confidential classified information. This includes areas where classified information is normally or frequently displayed, such as charts, maps, drawings, photographs, equipment, or conference rooms where classified information is being discussed. This does not include an office in which classified information is sporadically discussed or displayed and action can be taken by occupants to prevent disclosure.
